In the middle of the day, when I need a little pick me up, I can’t think of anything better than a fruit salad for weight loss, like this one! It’s colorful, bright, light, sweet, juicy, a little sour, earthy and absolutely irresistible!
For this healthy salad for weight loss I am using one smaller granny smith apple. Apples are low in calories and high in fiber so they are perfect for weight loss. This time of year I like to add one seasonal orange which is also low in calories and very filling. Lastly a handful of blueberries. Berries are antioxidants and help lower cholesterol.
Every time I make a fruit recipe for weight loss I like to use lemon. Lemon helps burn fat but I actually love the taste of it so I like to sprinkle some on top and of course, have to add a touch of cinnamon. Cinnamon adds a ton of flavor and is very beneficial for weight loss too.
As simple as is, I would call this the best fruit recipe for weight loss. Simple recipes are usually those we gravitate most often towards. They make the daily life a lot easier and bring joy too!
Of course, if you are making a healthy fruit salad recipe for weight loss, like this one, use any fruit you like. Or, any with low calories. This time of year kiwi, clementines and grapefruits are delicious!

Fruit Salad For Weight Loss
1 smaller Granny Smith apple
Handful of blueberries
½ lemon juice
½ tsp cinnamon
- Cut apple and orange into smaller chunks. Place in a bowl. Add in blueberries, lemon juice and cinnamon.
- Enjoy right away!
