So, porridge was never my thing. It always looked very unappealing to me, and it still does, but I decided to give it a try after a friend told me about its many great health benefits. And now, this healthy oatmeal recipe for weight loss is one of my favorite breakfasts to have! And it’s very straight forward.

Healthy Porridge With Fruit And NutsCourse: Breakfast, Desserts, Healthy Desserts, Vegan, Vegeterian, Weight Loss Recipes
3 tbsp porridge oats
6 tbsp water
½ orange juice
1 tbsp chia seeds
½ tsp cinnamon
½ Granny Smith apple
- Place oats and water in a small pot. Bring to boil, then reduce the heat to simmering point and cook until the mixture becomes thick and gloopy. Mix occasionally.
- Remove from the heat. Add in chia, cinnamon and orange juice. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture into a bowl. Top with apple and kiwi chunks, prunes and almonds.
- Enjoy while warm!
