It’s been a month since I filmed this recipe. And already then there were strawberries from Greece being sold in markets all over Belgrade. And it made it very easy for me to decide what to have for snack! So, today I am sharing with you recipe for my red fruit salad for weight loss! So easy and SO delicious!

Since strawberries are one of the fruit with most pesticides, I am going to consume them only once a week during season. And this is one of the ways I like to enjoy them!

For this red fruit salad, aside from sweet strawberries I used fresh blueberries and some frozen fruit as well.

One thing I really miss in Sweden are sour cherries. Which is why, every time I’m in Belgrade I like to eat them as often as possible! And so I used a handful of frozen cherries for this fruit salad with strawberries for weight loss too. I like cherries on their own but also mixed with other sweet fruit.

All of these fruits are low in calories and high in fiber. Which is why I used them for this red fruit salad for weight loss.

In the video I forgot to add some lemon juice to this strawberry fruit salad for weight loss. Lemon bring out all the flavors and makes the salad even juicier. But I included it into the written recipe so that you don’t miss it!

And to make this summer fruit salad for weight loss even more delicious I sprinkled over some cinnamon. Cinnamon is very beneficial for weight loss and make this salad visually more appealing!

Ingredients

  • 100 gr strawberries

  • 70 gr blueberries

  • 30 gr red currants

  • 100 gr sour cherries

  • ¼ lemon juice

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Process

  • Wash and place all the fruit into a small bowl. Sprinkle over with cinnamon and lemon juice and enjoy!
