For this fruit birthday cake I used low calorie fruit that I like. And for me, the fruit has to be juicy, a little sweet and a little sour. So apples and oranges wee perfect.
Also, you can add more flavor to this easiest birthday cake buy sprinkling some cinnamon and adding some chopped nuts on top and the side.
If you want this healthy weight loss cake recipe to last a little longer just dip all the layers into some lemon juice. But regardless, don’t wait too long to eat it.
Not that Summer fruit is starting to come I can see this best weight loss cake recipe and cake being made with nectarines too. That would be more of a splurge in terms of calories but it would be worth it!

Weight Loss Cake
1 Grany Smith apple
Cinnamon and chopped nuts if you like
- Wash then cut apple into thicker slices. Wash, peel and then cut the orange into thicker slices.
- Place a layer of apple on a smaller plate. Follow by a layer of orange. Repeat until you have used up all of the slices.
- Serve right away and enjoy!
